About the Brand

About the CrossRoads Hampton

The Hampton is a line of destination trailers built by CrossRoads RV, a brand within the larger Keystone RV family under Thor Industries. While CrossRoads sits in the same family as Keystone, the Hampton is a CrossRoads product through and through — designed, built, and badged by CrossRoads, not a rebadged Keystone unit. Understanding that distinction helps when you’re researching layouts, parts, or warranty coverage.

What a destination trailer is

A destination trailer is a large, park-model-style towable — typically 40 feet or longer — built for extended and seasonal stays in one spot rather than frequent road travel. You tow it to a favorite campground, lakefront site, or coastal park, level it, hook it to full utilities, and leave it there for the season (or for years). It’s a cabin you can move, not a coach you live out of on the highway.

The Hampton approach

The Hampton leans into a coastal, light-and-airy aesthetic. CrossRoads engineers these units to feel like a real home for repeat visits: 8-foot floor-to-ceiling heights (9 feet on the loft layouts), residential-style appliances, and raised-panel cabinetry give the interior an open, finished feel that holds up to weeks and months of living rather than a long weekend.

Who it’s for

The Hampton suits people who have found their place — a seasonal site, a snowbird destination, a lake or coast base camp — and want a comfortable, home-like footprint to return to. It’s a fit for couples, families, and retirees who value space and livability over mobility, and who have access to a long pad and 50-amp service. If you move your RV often, a destination trailer is the wrong tool; if you stay put and want to settle in, it’s exactly right.
